Mix a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel, add a dash of Monty Python and you have The 39 Steps, a fast-paced thriller for anyone who loves the magic of theatre! Follow the incredible adventures of our handsome hero Richard Hannay, complete with stiff-upper-lip, British gung-ho and pencil moustache as he encounters dastardly murders, double-crossing secret agents, and, of course, devastatingly beautiful women. This wonderfully inventive comedy features four fearless actors, playing 130 roles in 100 minutes of fast-paced fun and thrilling action. Directed by Alec Wimmer. Designed by Brandyn Graves.

By Scott Z. Burns

After Caitlin Gabriel survives a deadly shooting at her high school, she struggles to tell her story to her parents, the authorities, and anyone who will listen. But there are other narratives that gain purchase in the media and paint her in a different light. Inspired in part by the 1999 Columbine shooting, Burns’ powerful play doesn’t try to explain such tragedies. Rather, as the New York Times observed, he challenges the audience to consider “how such events warp and contaminate those who survive them." Directed by Chloe Kraus. Designed by Brandyn Graves.

By William Shakespeare

It’s an old story. Boy meets Girl. Girl notices Boy. Girl smashes Boy with a lute! Shakespeare’s classic “battle of the sexes” comedy focuses on the wild and headstrong Katherine, who must have a husband before her father Baptista will allow her younger sister Bianca to wed. Bianca's suitors conspire to find just the right man for the job. When the swaggering Petruchio comes to Padua looking for a wife-a comedy is born. But can this "ruff"and ready hero tame the unruly Kate? And who is taming who? A cast of FHU students and local alumni bring this raucous comedy to life. Directed by Cliff Thompson.

Golden Year Reunion

We look forward to welcoming you home — to celebrate your time at FHC, reconnect with those who shared in your years on campus, and reflect on people and days that will never be forgotten! By far, this is the most meaningful event we have the privilege of hosting each year. Your presence reminds us that there is something inherently special about our beloved alma mater and her people.

While we will specially recognize the anniversary classes of 1969, 1964, 1959, 1954, 1949 and 1944, every student from the Class of 1969 or earlier is welcome.

We look forward to sharing more information with you closer to the event and to seeing you this summer.
